We accept Optum, UnitedHealthcare, Sutter, Anthem Blue Cross, Health Net Medi-Cal, and Aetna. We also accept clients claiming on their our of network benefits.

No, our therapists do not prescribe medications. Only a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner, or physician can prescribe medications. Our therapists provide psychotherapy to help improve psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues. All of our therapists are happy to work collaboratively with medication prescribers.

Each of our therapists offer a 15-minute phone consultation. This will give you the opportunity to ask questions to your therapist before beginning therapy to see if they are a good fit for you.

Yes! Each of our therapists offer telehealth as an option. If you would like video appointments, please discuss this with your therapist.

During the first session, we will be covering a lot. We will talk about what is going on in your life currently, as well as begin to talk about your history. We will also talk about what your goals are for therapy. It usually takes the first 2 or 3 sessions to do a full intake assessment where we go into detail about your history and formulate a treatment plan together.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Because of this, we ask for 24-hours notice if you need to cancel a session. Late cancellations within 24-hours of your appointment will be charged a $75 fee.
