Hi, I’m Muskan.

Hi! I am Muskan,

I am a second year Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) student at California Northstate University. My approach to therapy is rooted in cultural humility, empathy and respect for each individual's life experience. I believe in creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, heard and supported, especially when navigating complex intersections of emotions, self-reflection and healing.

My clinical interests include supporting individuals who are working through depression, anxiety, the impacts of cultural stressors and challenges within interpersonal relationships. As someone shaped by a multicultural background, I am attuned to how cultural contexts and lived experiences can influence mental health. I aim to meet each client where they are and walk alongside them with compassion and curiosity.

Therapy to me is a collaborative process. I hold an interest in modalities such as Cognitive Behavior therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-informed approaches to help clients develop insight, foster emotional resilience and build a life aligned with their values.

I strive to be grounded, authentic and client-centered in my work, honoring both vulnerability and strength in the healing process. It is a privilege to join clients in their journey towards growth and self-understanding, and I believe with the right amount of support, meaningful change is always possible.
